During her work with Kyocera company ltd she was highly influenced by the Kyocera philosophy. This philosophy is based on a very fundamental idea: “Do the right thing as a human being, and practice this idea fairly”. Though Philosophy may seem irrelevant to corporate management, but I believe it will become clear how we should manage a company as we pursue an ideal attitude as human beings. A company’s management is truly a reflection of its top executives’ characters. Therefore, if managers develop a strong moral character, I believe that their criteria for judgment should improve their management capabilities; these are the words of the founder and chairman emeritus of Kyocera, Kazuo Inamori. This philosophy is his personal experience in business from a small local business that started without an adequate capital or machinery in a less than impressive building to a top industry in the world. This philosophy has guided Kyocera ltd to its present peak of establishment.
